After finishing the Main Quests, strong equipment is necessary for various party-based game modes and raids. A lot of players use equipment that fits the situation best from their collections through the Auto Recommended function. With a little tweaking, you can enjoy this MMORPG experience with equipment specialized for your character.

 
▲ How to Acquire Equipment

You can easily acquire equipment from quests or hunting, but you can also salvage unused equipment to acquire Mana Stones that can be used to get new pieces of equipment. You’re guaranteed to get equipment of a certain grade in places such as the Elnium Sewer, Dark Spirit's Tower, and other dungeons where equipment drop rates are higher. The further you progress in the Main Quests and the higher your level becomes, the more you will gain access to dungeons that yield better equipment.

 
However, in the case of Earrings, Necklaces, Rings, and other such Accessories have low drop rates, there's a limit to trying to acquire them through hunting. In those cases, you can salvage all unused Accessories to acquire Ether, which can be used to draw new Accessories, or simply use Diamonds to acquire better Accessories.

▲ Equipment Selection and Magic Stones

When you have a new piece of equipment, make sure to check that equipment's substats before immediately switching to the recommended equipment. Checking newly gained equipment is important because there are substats that become stronger as the equipment is enhanced, especially whether or not "Magic Stones" are equipped, which can make a large difference in stats. "Magic Stones" can be acquired from Dark Invasion, World Boss, Forte's Seal, and other content, and consist of Green/Red/Purple/Blue/Yellow that increases a different type of stat. Each piece of equipment has a unique set color of Magic Stones that can be used, so keep an eye out for the best Magic Stones for your equipment. Also, you can use 5 of the same type of Magic Stones to evolve them into a higher grade Magic Stone, so take advantage of that too.

▲ Equipment Enhancement and Transfers

If you've acquired a piece of high grade equipment, you can make it even stronger through the Growth → Forge tab using Enhancement Stones. There are lower level guardians who aren't sure when to enhance their equipment since they'll run out of Enhancement Stones at later levels, but you can enhance your equipment as much as you want in <A3: STILL ALIVE>! Enhancements applied to one piece of equipment can always be "Transferred" to another piece! Also, without needing higher grade Enhancement Stones, you can always evolve Common grade Enhancement Stones to acquire them, which will allow you to get powerful equipment.

 
▲ Accessory Substat Change Function

Accessories such as Earrings, Necklaces, and Rings have very high Combat Power substat numbers compared to other equipment, and some substats are unique to Accessories. Substats exclusive to Accessories are the item drop rate, Exp increase, and Combat Power substats that will be useful in PVP content. However, they are harder to acquire compared to other equipment. Even if they are acquired from hunts, Accessory stats are randomized, so rare Accessories may have the wrong substats. In this case, players can set the substat of their choice through the "Change Accessory Substat" function.

 
Accessory substats can be changed through the Growth → Forge → Change Accessory Substat tab using Diamonds. In the case of "Basic Substats," substats for HP or various ATK related stats are randomly determined, so you can change it based on what you need. On the other hand, "Accessory Substats" only allow certain stats to change from their original, randomly generated substats. Therefore, it’s a good idea for players to have separate Accessories for PVE content and PVP content, maximize substats as much as possible, and select equipment accordingly.
