Soul Linkers - The smart and versatile partners that fight alongside you in battle! In Survive The Darkness, <A3: STILL ALIVE>, you can clear each quest with help from Soul Linkers. Soul Linkers are a must-use for <A3: STILL ALIVE> guardians in order to clear raids or main quests. Keep reading to learn more about how to obtain and place Soul Linkers, and which Soul Linkers are good for which quests!
▲ Meet Soul Linkers
In <A3: STILL ALIVE>, there's a current total of 84 Soul Linkers from Normal to Legendary to collect (Based on 16/02/2021). As you clear the main quest, you'll to meet Hannemorin, Teldorus, and Troger in unique storylines. Other Soul Linkers can be acquired from Soulstars or by completing Main/Region Quests, the Codex, or Achievements.
Soul Linkers are also available in the Shop. You can summon and strengthen Soul Linkers using 'Hayrens' Essence' acquired from participating in events, Dark Presence, and Battle Royale. If you want a higher grade Soul Linker, use diamonds in the shop to summon 3★ Exp - Heroic 7★ Soul Linkers.

Once you have a Soul Linker, you can place and manage it in the Soul Linkers tab. You can only place 3 Soul Linkers at a time, so compare their grades and skills to select the right ones for you. You might need an ATK Type, DEF Type, or SUPP Type based on the boss of the main quest, so it's better to place all three types of Soul Linkers instead of just one.
However, of the 3 Soul Linkers placed, only 1 Soul Linker can battle at a time. You can select the Soul Linker from the right side of the battle screen and control its active skills. When you place a Soul Linker, you will see its ATK and stats applied to your character.
▲ Power Up Soul Linkers (Upgrade, Bind)
You can get a lot of Soulstars from various quests. If you have a lot of Soul Linkers of a grade that you don't want, you can use them as level up materials in the Management tab. Once certain requirements are met, Soul Linkers can evolve to a higher grade by upgrading or binding them in the Growth tab. The type (Defense/Attack/Support) of the Soul Linker used as the main material can change the result, so please see below for more info!
① Upgrading: Max lever Soul Linker (main) + Same type of Soul Linkers (material) = A Soul Linker that you want with a higher ★!
② Binding: Max ★ Soul Linker by rarity (main) + 3 Soul Linkers with same ★ (material) = higher rarity!
▲ Manage Soul Linkers (Growth, Item, Attribute Rune)
In the Soul Linker Management tab, you can level up or upgrade the skills of your Soul Linkers. It is very important to manage Soul Linkers regularly because strengthening them will make it easier to clear Boss Raid, Quests, Dark Presence and other content. Lower grade Soul Linkers can be used as materials to level up a Soul Linker. Level up passive/active skills using Topaz. Some skills can be changed using Diamonds.
You can also equip individual equipment to each Soul Linker in the Management tab. Purchase Soul Linker equipment from the Shop with Hayrens' Essence acquired from Battle Royale or receive it from clearing quests. Soul Linker equipment can also be upgraded and made stronger using other equipment as material.
Strong Soul Linkers make strong guardians! Soul Linkers are a must-use in <A3: STILL ALIVE>.
