Survive The Darkness, <A3: STILL ALIVE> players are enthusiastic about the fun of strengthening and customizing characters -  but do you have questions about growing your character? Let's go over the basics for guardians just starting out - quests, events, and rankings! This guide has key information about <A3: STILL ALIVE> all in one place.

▲ Are you new to the game? 

<A3: STILL ALIVE> has various quests such as Main Quests, Progress Quests, Region Quests, Surprise Quests, and Support Quests that help you understand the story of the game. However, when you're clearing the quests, it may seem like your character isn't growing as fast as you want it to be. That's why you need to focus and prioritize the right quests! Let's take a look at which quests you need to clear first!

  
Main Quests are the most basic quests that tell the story of the game. Some content unlocks when you clear specific main quests, so it's important to complete them to keep progressing. Main Quests also give you the most EXP and drop equipment and items that can help you grow your character. Guardians who want to level up quickly should clear Main Quests first.

 
Progress Quests are necessary to unlock the next region. They activate automatically once you clear the Main Quests. Complete a total of 10 Progress Quests per region such as defeating monsters or accomplishing certain tasks to unlock the next region with stronger monsters and equipment. Just keep an eye on the recommended Combat Power and make sure you're ready for the challenge!

  
Region Quests are subquests centered around each region. You can earn region-specific Fame upon completing Region Quests. Once you reach maximum Fame, you will receive a special reward. It's helpful to clear quests with useful rewards while also completing Main Quests. You can complete 10 Region Quests a day, and you can use Region Quest Reset Scrolls to unlock additional daily quests.

 
Surprise Quests appear randomly in the field. It's 100% up to you if you want to play or not! If a red Surprise Quest pops up in the field, you can accept, decline, or put the quest on hold. You can get lots of EXP and Golden Keys to unlock event Treasure Chests from completing Surprise Quests.

 
'Support Quests' activate when you encounter a difficult opponent in the game. Up to 3 quests activate for boss battles or during difficult quests, and they drop Equipment Enhancement Stones or Soulstars that can help your character grow. When they appear, it's good to complete them right away like with Surprise Quests. Don't forget that once you've completed all events, you can also get additional rewards from Today's Activity!



 
▲ What are events?

Log in to <A3: STILL ALIVE> and check out the Event menu! Check-in every day to get various rewards like a 5★ rare guaranteed Soulstar. Also, for those hard-working guardians, there's a Log In Reward, which gives you rewards based on logged in hours, and Level Achievement Rewards, which give you a reward each time you reach target levels.

Check out the Rest Reward in the Event menu for any hours you didn't play. You can get accumulated Exp for the time you rested. You can also use Claim Rewards to exchange Gold and Diamonds for rewards you missed in Normal and Special adventures. (*Claim Reward is available for A3 Members Lv. 3+)
 

 
▲ Is ranking only for ranked players?

In the Ranking menu, you can check your character's growth milestones for level, combat power, Battle Royale, Dark Invasion, Guild, and PVP. Each ranking is updated daily or weekly, and you can get special effects added to your character's nickname or even get a statue in the field based on your accomplishments!
Beginners who haven't reached a high ranking yet, check out Battle Royale. Battle Royale is divided into Legendary, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze and you can get a reward each season.
