Netmarble F&C new game Grand Cross: Age of Titans has been officially launched. 
It is the '4X Strategy' genre where players can grow their territory, army, and the power of their alliance.
The game also features collectible RPG elements, allowing players to collect and train characters.

In Grand Cross: Age of Titans, heroes take on the role of commanders leading the army raised by the player.
Each hero has different grades, basic abilities, and possessed skills, which can make the army even stronger.
The combination of heroes who command them is also crucial. Each hero has a specialized unit type.
When there is a clash between the same unit types, having a suitable commander can give an advantage in the battle.

Main training elements of Grand Cross: Age of Titans
 

The most basic is ‘level up’!

In Grand Cross: Age of Titans, heroes are primarily obtained from 'Star Fragment'. (Character summoning content that requires gems, normal prayer books, or advanced prayer books)

[Ways to acquire heroes]

• Acquire heroes and Hero Manastones through Star Fragment summons
• Accumulate a set amount of Manastones to summon heroes
• Heroes placed in the territory can only be recruited by completing certain missions
• Acquire Hero Manastones through events
   

Some heroes are guaranteed to be given according to the game’s progress.
There are around 40 types of heroes divided into four grades: Legendary, Unique, Rare, and Uncommon.
When it comes to nurturing these heroes, leveling up is the most fundamental aspect.

7-Day Check-In Event: Awarding the Legendary Hero ‘Claudia’

‘Level up’ is fundamental to hero development because it is straightforward. (Two methods for ‘level up’) Heroes can acquire EXP by using the item ‘Secret Learning Method’ or by battling against monsters. ‘Secret Learning Method’ is an item that increases hero EXP points. One of the main sources is the PvE tower content within the territory. As players progress through the main chapters, the fog covering the territory clears. In this process, ‘Tower of Distress’, ‘Tower of Glacier’ and others emerge.
‘Secret Learning Method’ obtainable here offers a small increase in experience points, but they have the advantage of obtaining items that definitively increase EXP points.

As your level increases, the requirement for ‘Secret Learning Method’ gradually increases.

Hunting monsters in the world is the easiest method for leveling up. Especially when you have 3-star heroes through "Upgrade Star Level," even easier leveling up becomes possible. For heroes of 3-star or higher, you can place "Secondary Hero" in your squad, and similar to the main hero, "Secondary Hero" also gains experience through monster conquests.
By designating high-level heroes as main heroes and organizing a squad with recently acquired heroes, whose levels may be lower, as 'Secondary Heroes', we can observe that the levels of these 'Secondary Heroes' jump up several steps with each monster conquest.

My Own Training Method! Talent

When a hero levels up, the hero’s combat power and maximum troop capacity increase. Additionally, ‘Talent Points’ that allow the acquisition of ‘Talent’ are also provided. Talent is effects obtained by squads where the hero is designated as the main hero. Each hero has specialized talents focused on specific unit types and skills such as hunting, gathering, and support. These talents are divided into two separate trees.

There is no constraint that acquiring talents from one tree prevents you from learning talents from the other tree. Each talent tree consists of 12 steps, and to acquire or upgrade talents in the higher steps, players must invest a minimum of 3 points in the preceding step of the same tree.

Talent is content where players nurture heroes in the direction they desire. The role of a hero's unit can change based on which talent tree the player focuses on.
Ex) ‘Haemosu,’ who specializes in maximizing the archer unit's ATK. ‘Kayla,’ who focuses on enhancing the movement speed

There are important considerations regarding ‘Talent’. When setting troops, the talents of heroes deployed as "Secondary Hero" do not contribute to the enhancement of the unit’s ability. If we’re not satisfied with the talents we’ve already acquired, we can use the ‘Talent Reset’ item. But, since the availability of this item is not guaranteed, wasting it is not recommended.
