A New Story Inspired by Varied Interpretations

Players may be familiar with the episode in which the protagonist, Arthur Pendragon, obtains Excalibur. 

However, the way he obtains the sword has varied across different retellings. Some versions depict Arthur pulling it from a stone. In others, it is bestowed upon him by the mystical Lady of the Lake.

In King Arthur: Legends Rise, the story takes a different path - Arthur discovers Excalibur hidden beneath a lake. What’s more, King Arthur: Legends Rise adds one distinct characteristic to the sword, saying that the sword is not an ordinary sword but is  infused with a dark presence. 

The story introduces a unique twist where the entity within the sword makes a deal with Arthur, adding a fresh and exciting new element to the classic tale.

In King Arthur: Legends Rise, players will encounter a diverse array of characters and creatures drawn from the Arthurian legend, alongside the protagonist, Arthur.

King Arthur: Legends Rise plans to introduce two new characters every month, adding fresh faces to the roster. 

Key figures include Merlin and Guinevere, Arthur’s trusted allies, as well as his sworn enemy like King Lot and the sorceress Morgan. 

Other notable characters to watch out for include Tristan and Iseult, as well as the unique shark-headed beastman, Benorne.

With 66 heroes to recruit, the adventure is filled with endless possibilities!

Players can collect, level up, and form parties with their heroes to experience a variety of combat content.

Key combat features include the ‘Story Mode’ where players follow the main storyline, the ‘Boss Battles’ where they defeat powerful enemies like dragons, and the ‘Arena’ for PvP content, where players compete against each other. 

The game also features dungeons such as the ‘Power Up Dungeon’, ‘Equipment Dungeon’, and ‘Forbidden Dungeon’, where players can acquire materials to strengthen their heroes and resources to aid their progress. 

Notably, the Forbidden Dungeon operates on a 4-week seasonal basis.

Strategic Elements: Element Compatibility, Vigor, Weather, and more

The combat system in King Arthur: Legends Rise is turn-based, with several strategic elements to master. 

A key factor is the shared ‘Vigor’ element, which is consumed when characters use skills and replenished at the start of each turn or through certain abilities.

Managing Vigor efficiently is crucial for securing victory, particularly in longer battles.

Players can also influence the attack order using the attack gauge, gain buffs from weather conditions, and further customize their characters' abilities through Relic swapping. 

These elements combine to create a deeper, more dynamic combat experience that requires careful planning and strategy.

Diverse Content Beyond Combat

The kingdom in King Arthur: Legends Rise is divided into three regions: East, South, and Central. 

In the central region, players can build and upgrade various facilities around the main castle. 

If players are familiar with strategy simulation games, the kingdom management system will feel intuitive.
 

Beyond the satisfaction of developing players’ kingdom, careful management is crucial, as it directly impacts the growth and enhancement of your heroes.
