New Story EPISODE 3.0
Jeju Island Raid Update
In the world of Solo Leveling, dungeons are classified by rank. For the most dangerous A-rank dungeons, raids cannot be approved without the presence of an S-rank Hunter.
There is an even higher tier of dungeon, the S-rank dungeon.
Similar to the Kamish Raid dungeon break incident involving Thomas Andre, these dungeons require the deployment of multiple S-rank Hunters to be successfully cleared.
The dungeon featuring Kargalgan as the boss is classified as a top-tier A-rank dungeon
Several years ago, an S-rank dungeon filled with massive ant-type beasts appeared on Jeju Island, transforming it into a desolate wasteland.
Three attempts to reclaim the island ended in failure, resulting in heavy casualties, even among S-rank Hunters. As a result, efforts to retake Jeju Island were abandoned. By the time Sung Jinwoo rose to the rank of S-rank Hunter, a fourth raid was launched to reclaim the island.
During the operation, it was discovered that the ant beasts on Jeju Island had evolved and grown even stronger, prompting a joint operation between Korea and Japan.
The mission involved 10 S-rank Hunters from Japan's top guild, Blade Guild, and 6 S-rank Hunters from Korea. In total, 16 S-rank Hunters were deployed to Jeju Island with the goal of taking down the Ant Queen.
The newly added main story Chapters 21 to 23 (Normal/Hard) in this update center around the Fourth Jeju Island Raid.
Had there been no ‘Major Variables,’ the raid would have succeeded even without Sung Jinwoo. However, a major twist occurs, putting all S-rank Hunters on Jeju Island at risk of annihilation. To prevent disaster, Sung Jinwoo uses his Shadow Exchange skill to teleport to Jeju Island and join the battle.

New Shadow: Beru
The Army of Shadows led by Sung Jinwoo is composed of powerful individuals. Among them, ‘Igris,’ the first shadow Sung Jinwoo obtained, and 'Beru’ who became a shadow during the Jeju Island raid, are two shadows that have gained high popularity since the original work.
'Beru' was added to Solo Leveling: ARISE in this update and possesses the Shadow's Authority, which increases the entire team’s Attack and Critical Hit damage increases by 3% when included in the formation.
New Shadow: Beru
In the original work, Beru was the first Shadow Soldier of Sung Jinwoo to join the Army of Shadows at the ‘General’ rank.
Based on this concept, the game has introduced the ‘General’ rank promotion for Shadows. Shadows promoted to the General rank have their Shadow abilities enhanced and can use a new skill.
Japanese S-rank Healer ‘Shimizu Akari’ in the Jeju Island Raid
The next update is the new Hunter, Shimizu Akari. She is one of the S-rank Hunters from Japan’s Blade guild who participated in the Fourth Jeju Island Raid.
