The Jeju Island Raid stands out as a pivotal highlight in the early chapters of the Solo Leveling universe.
Netmarble's Solo Leveling:ARISE recently unveiled the main storyline of the Jeju Island Raid in a previous update. 

On January 16th, additional content about this was also introduced.

Jeju Island Alliance Raid: Skirmish

The first Global Cooperation Event, Jeju Island Alliance Raid: Skirmish, invites all hunters to unite their strength. 
This update debuts the initial stage, Skirmish, as part of the new content.

Additionally, exciting new features have been introduced, including a new Hunter who was voted the #1 character that players want to experience as a Hunter.

In the storyline, the Jeju Island Raid depicts an epic battle featuring S-rank hunters from both Korea and Japan. The Jeju Island Raid in the original story was a massive-scale operation. The new content in Solo Leveling:ARISE, Jeju Island Alliance Raid: Skirmish, captures this grand scale, enabling all hunters to actively join the operation.

The first gateway of the Jeju Island Alliance Raid content, Skirmish, consists of four stages.
As hunters clear specific dungeons, the progression increases. Once the progress reaches 100%, the next stage of the operation unlocks, giving access to new dungeons.

To take part in the operation, hunters must use the Operation Plans item, which can be obtained through Jeju Island Alliance Raid missions.

Jeju Island Alliance Raid: Skirmish Main Screen

Each operation stage of Jeju Island Alliance Raid: Skirmish consists of 8 levels, with higher levels unlocking as the operation progresses. Additionally, higher grade rewards will be given when challenging higher level operations.

In addition to participating in operations using Operation Plans, players can also advance the operation progress and claim rewards through Cooperative Support.
(Battle Support Supplies are required for Cooperative Support and the supplies can be acquired by clearing Alliance Raid missions)

The main rewards for participating in operations and Cooperative Support are the Jeju Island Contribution Points and Jeju Island Raid Coins. 

Players can earn rewards based on their accumulated Contribution Points, following a tiered system similar to previous challenge events. 

The Jeju Island Raid Coins are a special currency that can be exchanged for various items at the Exchange Shop. Additionally, based on the progress of the Alliance Raid, players can also receive rewards such as SSR Hunter Weapon Selection Tickets and Sung Jinwoo Weapon Selection Tickets.

New hunter ‘Esil Radiru’

An Endless Moment,
Esil Radiru!

While Sung Jinwoo was on his way to conquer the Demon’s Castle Upper Floors, he strategically divided his Army of Shadows into multiple units to attack different areas.

Among those who briefly hindered his progress was Esil Radiru of the Radiru Family, the ruler of the 80th floor of the Demon Castle.

After her defeat at the hands of Sung Jinwoo, Esil Radiru initially attempts to surrender but quickly tries a sneak attack, which also fails. Recognizing Sung Jinwoo’s overwhelming strength, she begs for forgiveness and offers to lead him to her family’s estate.

Sung Jinwoo meets the Radiru Family head and gets permission to move onto the Demon’s Castle Upper Floors. When Sung Jinwoo asks if Esil could accompany him as a guide, the family head agrees. From that point on, Esil joins Sung Jinwoo on his journey to conquer the Demon’s Castle, proving to be an invaluable ally.

Esil’s popularity soared despite her brief appearance, thanks to her stunning beauty and  unwavering loyalty for Sung Jinwoo. Her captivating personality and contributions to Sung Jinwoo’s mission left a lasting impression on fans.

New SSR Hunter, Esil Radiru

Before the update, Netmarble conducted a poll titled "Which character would you want to see as a Hunter?" Esil Radiru ranked as the #1 character, despite not originally being a Hunter in the story. After having a long conversation with the original author, Chugong, a new narrative was created to bring Esil into the game as a Hunter. 

Now introduced as a Fire attribute Breaker, Esil Radiru is expected to play a key role in the newly introduced Deimos, especially with the "Break Increase" option in the  Workshop of Brilliant Light, making her a core strategy character.

Esil Radiru’s exclusive weapon is Glorious Demise.
And her primary skills include:

• Stabbing Spikes (Core Attack): Esil quickly leaps and then strikes down towards enemies on the ground, manifesting spikes beneath them
• Foretold Victory (Ultimate Skill): A barrage of arrows from the Demons’ Castle rains down on the heads of her enemies

The next update introduces a new ‘Workshop of Brilliant Light - Spire of Transfiguration’ (Easy/Normal) where hunters can challenge the Judge of Death, Deimos.

The latest version of the Workshop of Brilliant Light requires even more diverse strategies compared to previous versions. 

While earlier challenges could be cleared with specific team compositions and strategies, the Spire of Transfiguration demands various team combinations and tactics tailored to each dungeon level, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience for players.

And new core equipment was introduced, along with a new Growth Element called Core Limit Break.

Hunters can enhance Cores that have reached the maximum level. A Condensed Energy material item is required for Core limit break and the corresponding item can be acquired as rewards when clearing Workshop of Brilliant Light - Spire of Transfiguration.

Sung Jinwoo’s exclusive weapon - Truth: Kasaka’s Venom Fang

The Beginning of Becoming a Powerful Hunter

Sung Jinwoo’s exclusive weapon, Truth: Kasaka’s Venom Fang, was added.
This SSR water attribute weapon is an upgraded version of the Kasaka's Venom Fang, which Sung Jinwoo favored in the early parts of the original story and has been available since the game's launch.

Truth: Kasaka’s Venom Fang can be obtained as a progression reward by clearing ‘Train to Become a Formidable Combatant’.

As players clear each step of the mission, they will receive various rewards, such as the SSR Hunter ‘Cha Hae-In’ and ‘Fixed Support Draw Tickets,’ and more.

Hunters who complete the ‘Train to Become a Formidable Combatant’ mission can proceed with the draw up to 40 times using the 'Fixed Support Draw Tickets' and can acquire a guaranteed selected Hunter when reaching 40 draws.

Next up is the New Hunter Weapon.
New SSR Hunter weapons, including Flame of the Azure Serpent, Dewdrop of the Azure Serpent, and Leaf of the Azure Serpent, can be acquired through events. 

These weapons respectively enhance Attack, Defense, and HP.

Sung Jinwoo’s exclusive weapon - Fan of the Fire Demon

The SSR Fire attribute exclusive weapon for Sung Jinwoo, Fan of the Fire Demon, has a fan-like shape as its name suggests.

In addition to this, the update on January 16th also brought new content such as Chapter 21 through 23 on Reverse Mode, new Costumes for Esil Radiru and Sung Jinwoo, as well as various functional improvements.
