Let’s meet the new Hunters joining the game through this special collab!
New Hunters join!
Frieren, Fern, and Stark step into the action!
Before diving into their in-game debut, let’s take a look at the journeys and powers of Frieren and her companions in the original Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
As the title suggests, the elf mage Frieren is the main protagonist of the series.
In this world, elves are an immortal race, and though Frieren appears youthful, she’s lived for over a thousand years.
Her path as a mage truly began after meeting the human sorceress Flamme, who inspired her to explore the endless depths of magic.
Frieren may look young, but she’s a mage who’s lived for over 1,000 years!
After her master Flamme passed away, Frieren spent hundreds of years in seclusion, honing her magic. Eventually, a party of adventurers, the hero Himmel, priest Heiter, and warrior Eisen, came seeking her out.Frieren was persuaded by Himmel to join the party, and after years of adventure, they accomplished the monumental feat of defeating the Demon King.
A century later, Himmel and Heiter passed away one after the other, paving the way for Frieren’s next journey, which forms the heart of the series.
Beyond the Demon King’s defeat, Frieren left another remarkable legacy: the magic Zoltraak.
Originally created by the demon Qual, it was a spell meant to kill humans. But through collaboration between Frieren and human mages, it was refined and incorporated into the human magic system as a general offensive magic.
In the story, Zoltraak becomes a signature skill for Frieren and her apprentice Fern. Following her mentor’s guidance, Fern focused exclusively on mastering Zoltraak and defensive magic, achieving extraordinary proficiency.
Frieren Unleashes Her Ultimate
Based on the story, the Hunters Frieren and Fern wield Zoltraak as their core skill.
Let’s start with Frieren, implemented as a Water attribute mage.
Both her basic attacks and the derived core attacks are based on Zoltraak. The basic attack fires rapidly, while the core attack releases a single, highly concentrated burst of magical power.
Her QTE-activated skill and ultimate are also advanced applications of Zoltraak. Among her standard skills, she can cast Judradjim which summons a destructive lightning strike, and Vollzanbel, which unleashes infernal flames. When paired as a supporter to Sung Jinwoo, she also employs Defense Magic.

Fern Brings Lightning-Fast Casting to Solo Leveling: ARISE
Implemented as a Fire attribute mage, Fern takes things a step further than her mentor, with all her skills based on Zoltraak.
Her in-game design faithfully captures the original setting, where she surpasses Frieren in casting speed and rapid-fire attacks. Most of her skills are therefore implemented to unleash a projectile barrage, reflecting her incredible swiftness and power.
The final Hunter to introduce is Stark.
An apprentice of the warrior Eisen, who achieved the legendary feat of defeating the Demon King alongside Himmel, Heiter, and Frieren, Stark has a reserved and cautious personality, often hesitant in battle.
Yet his skill and potential are undeniable, recognized even by the many warriors he encounters in the story, including his Master Eisen.
He wields a massive battle axe as his weapon.
Warrior Stark can be obtained for free through a special event.
Stark is a Fire attribute tank introduced in the game and can be obtained for free through a collaboration event.
His normal attack, Chain Attack, swings his axe in quick succession, while his core attack, Whirling Strike, rotates his body as he swings the axe.
His skills include Spiral Strike, which spins him rapidly while swinging his axe, and Lightning Strike, delivering a powerful downward strike straight ahead. His QTE skill, Pulverize, charges forward and leaps, smashing the axe down.
The supporter skill, Fighter's Strike, jumps forward and strikes with the axe, and his ultimate, Lightning Strike, replicates the move he used in the original story when battling the demon Linie.
Players can face off against Aura, a powerful member, Seven Sages of Destruction
In this collaboration, an original story unfolds, following Frieren and her party as they embark on a unique adventure within the world of Solo Leveling: ARISE.
Aura the Guillotine, one of the 'Seven Sages of Destruction,' a group of seven powerful demon mages, emerges as a formidable boss in Solo Leveling: ARISE!
The collaboration introduces the SSR Light attribute weapon, Hero’s Sword, added as Sung Jinwoo’s exclusive weapon.
