Netmarble is showcasing its multi-platform open-world action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, at Taipei Game Show 2026, which runs from January 29 (Thu) to February 1 (Sun) at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

As one of Asia’s largest and most influential gaming events, Taipei Game Show is widely regarded as a prime gateway to the Greater Asia market. 

With a famously passionate local community, the show offers global developers a key opportunity to connect directly with players and demonstrate their latest projects.

At the show, Netmarble is offering a console playable demo at the PlayStation by Acer Gaming booth (M1219). The demo includes early-game scenes from the original storyline, open-world exploration, and intense boss encounters.

Full Traditional Chinese support ensures Taiwanese players can enjoy a seamless, immersive hands-on experience. Previously, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin was named one of Sony’s Most Anticipated PS5 Titles of 2026. 

Of the 15 titles selected worldwide, only two were developed in Korea, an indicator of the title’s growing global profile and the strong expectations surrounding its release.

Based on the globally popular manga series with over 55 million copies sold worldwide, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world action RPG set in the vast land of Britannia.

Players can freely explore the world, switch heroes on the fly through dynamic tag-team combat, unleash powerful combination skills, and experience action that evolves depending on hero and weapon pairings.

The game also emphasizes cooperative gameplay, allowing players to form parties with friends, explore the open world together, and take on challenging boss encounters, adding depth and variety to the multiplayer experience.

In 2025, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin was showcased at major global events such as gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, where it received highly positive feedback from attendees. 

A global Closed Beta Test (CBT) was also conducted, with 95% of survey respondents stating they intend to continue playing after the official launch, highlighting strong anticipation among players worldwide.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is scheduled for a global simultaneous release this March across console, PC, and mobile platforms.
