LOS ANGELES – May 27, 2022 - Netmarble announced the results from the second closed beta test (CBT) for Overprime, its upcoming strategic action 3D TPS MOBA for Steam. The company is excited to share this data following the CBT that ran from April 29 through May 9 (UTC+9).
During the 11-day period, over 356,000 players from 162 countries joined the CBT with a majority of players based in Asia 70%, Americas 9.8% and Europe 10.9%. Players logged in a total play time of 1,245,223 hours, which is equivalent to 142 years. Popular heroes consisted of Assassin "Kayla," Ranger "Shade" and Caster "Cosmos." The most successful hero garnering the most wins was Support "Ulug," who was a newly added hero during the 2nd CBT.
Overprime is a team-based TPS Action MOBA that anyone can play for free on PC. Players are engaged in 5:5 play while working with teammates to conquer the Prime battlefield. The game celebrates strategic actions and fast-paced battles by two teams aiming to eliminate the opponents' territories. Players can choose from one of the many powerful heroes utilizing their unique skills - Warrior, Support, Ranger, Caster, Tank, and Assassin.
