LOS ANGELES – OCTOBER 13, 2022 – In celebration of Halloween, Netmarble released a new spooky update for its merge casual mobile title Merge Fantasy Island (formerly Merge Kuya Island). Players can experience a new kuya, resources, in-game events, and more.

In this new Halloween-themed update, players can enjoy the new Pumpkin Kuya, who can gain Fruit Trees in Expedition mode. Players can meet this new Kuya either at the Shop or as rewards by completing all in-game missions during the Halloween event period.

Additionally, Gold resources can be obtained from the newly added Pumpkin Tree. Players will also have the opportunity to receive new decoration items for land (4x) and tiles (2x). Starting today, players can celebrate this Halloween update with the following events:

• Gem Spore Event (Occurs every weekend from October 15 to November 7): When players touch Halloween Ghosts, Gravestones will appear. Once Gravestones are touched, one of three resources will appear. (Coins, Lumbers, or Star Candy) Players can receive up to 30 Gravestones per day during the event.

• Halloween Web Event (October 13 - November 10): Players who complete in-game missions can collect rewards including Pumpkin Noms, Pumpkin Trees and Gems. Those who complete all missions will receive 700 Gems.

Merge Fantasy Island is a merge genre game based on Netmarble’s own IP Kuya, featuring fun gameplay mechanics and cute animations. Players can create and grow their own islands by collecting resources with Kuya and combining 3 objects to create new items. Players will encounter various missions on Main and Adventure Islands. Adventure mode consists of challenging stages such as the time attack stage, which offers exciting problem solving puzzles and exclusive resources only available in this mode that will give players new ways to enjoy the game.
