LOS ANGELES – December 9, 2022 – Netmarble is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Sanrio characters, with its merge casual mobile title Merge Fantasy Island. This collaboration update includes 3 new characters, new resources, special events and more.

Players can now experience various Sanrio characters collaboration-themed content including:

• 3 New Characters and Resources: Cinnamoroll Plushie, Pompompurin Plushie and Hello Kitty Plushie have been added to the list of playable characters. Players can also enjoy new resources of Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin.
• New Decoration: Cinnamoroll-themed Decoration and 2 types of tiles themed Cinnamoroll and Pompompurin have been released.
• Event island, Mystery Island, addition: Cinnamoroll-themed island has been newly released as an event island, which will be open once the players reach Lv.12 and can be enjoyed from December 7 to January 5 only. Those who complete special missions can receive collaboration characters and exclusive resources for Mystery Island.
• Star Collection System addition: Players can receive Star Cards when they acquire Kuyas or resources in the game. Once they collect cards that match each objective, additional rewards such as Gems will be offered.
• Cleaners System addition: When the players summon Cleaning Kuya, a Cleaners system that can perform an automatic merge will be activated and it can last for a specific period of time, depending on Cleaning Kuya’s level.
   

Celebrating this special collaboration, an event will be held. Those who log-in during the event, Hello Kitty Plushie will be offered until January 6th, 2023 and Sanrio character Noms will be available upon completing daily missions. Also, Sanrio characters Nom Bag Box, in which players can get the collaboration character Noms, has been added as limited for this event period.

Merge Fantasy Island is a merge genre game based on Netmarble’s own IP Kuya, featuring fun gameplay mechanics and cute animations. Players can create and grow their own islands by collecting resources with Kuya and combining 3 objects to create new items. Players will encounter various missions on Main and Adventure Islands. Adventure mode consists of challenging stages such as the time attack stage, which offers exciting problem solving puzzles and exclusive resources only available in this mode that will give players new ways to enjoy the game.
