NETMARBLE PUBLISHES 2022 ESG REPORT HIGHLIGHTING KEY EFFORTS IN SUSTAINABILITY AND GOVERNANCE

LOCATION – JANUARY 10, 2023 - Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, has published its second Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) report. It outlines the company’s 2022 strategic initiatives to operate responsibly with continued emphasis on sustainability and governance.

The second report reinforces Netmarble’s public reporting process on its ESG strategy, progress and key priorities. Netmarble utilizes the Environmental Management System to minimize environmental impact for the next generation. The company has presented strategic tasks including strengthening response to climate change, reducing waste, expanding recycling, and developing broader environmental-management communication.

Highlights from the report include:

  • Ranked as one of the global top 10 mobile publishers in sales, 7 years in a row on the App Store and Google Play (as of 2022)
  • Enhancing Stakeholder Communication in the New Media Era
  • Eco-friendly new HQ building G-Tower, which earned a rating of 1+ for  energy efficiency and the highest grade of green building certification
  • Social contribution for co-prosperity with various social programs
  • Strengthening ESG Management at the company level

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest strategic corporate sustainability initiative with more than 20,000 participants from 162 countries worldwide.
