LOS ANGELES, CA – July 31, 2023 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, has released a brand new hero for its free-to-play PC Action MOBA game  PARAGON: THE OVERPRIME. This game update adds a new hero, and Karma system for dynamic battlefield experience.

Through today’s update, fans can unlock the brand new hero, ‘Grim.exe’. Tethering between ‘GRIM’, a small, swft-moving creature and ‘exe’, a devastating combat robot, ‘GRIM.exe’ is a Caster hero characterized by its unique appearance. Grim.exe’s skills include:

• Pulse canon: To deal physical damage to enemies.
• Deflector Shield: Creates a shield to block enemy’s skills, if the block is successful, recovers Mana by certain points.
• Displacement Blast: Fires a pulse bullet at the enemy.
• Suppression Mode: Enhances the Basic Attack, Consumes a certain amount of Mana per attack and slows down the targets.
• Tracking Orb (Ultimate skill): Fires an orb that tracks a selected target. The orb passes through all terrain and structures on the Battlefield except Heroes.

The Karma System has also been updated to enhance the new player experience. This system gives the option for players to start with several key items including Destruction, Recovery, Purge. Via this update, eight new skills, such as Swift Charge, Courage, Consolation and Weakened, have been added to support a total of 14 Karma systems.

Four new summer-themed skins have also been added, just in time to beat the heat. ‘Brilliant Sailor’ for Serath, ‘Hunter of the Sea’ for Twinblast, ‘Brilliant Fairy’ for The Fey, ‘Deep Sea Explorer’ for Gideon will be available for a limited time until the update in late August.

Other improvements include item rebalancing and reworks to give users more variety on the battlefield, as well as adding a color vision correction feature to improve user experience.

PARAGON: THE OVERPRIME is a team-based TPS Action MOBA that anyone can play for free on PC. Players are engaged in 5v5 play while working with teammates to conquer the Prime battlefield. The game celebrates strategic actions and fast-paced battles by two teams aiming to eliminate the opponents' territories.
