LOS ANGELES, CA – SEPTEMBER 26, 2023 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, released new content for its free-to-play Action MOBA game  PARAGON: THE OVERPRIME. This update will feature the Swamp Mystic, Morigesh, new skins, and various improvements to the in-game systems.

Swamp Mystic, Morigesh is a new caster hero who has been a fan-favorite from Epic Games’ Paragon. This popular hero has been added to the game as a result of many fan requests to bring her back. Morigesh was a spirit who once protected the Eupera Forest alongside The Fey, the forest’s guardian. After The Fey left, Morigesh did her best to safeguard the ailing forest alone but realized she lacked the strength to do so by herself. With her back against the wall and corrupt enemies converging on the lake, she awoke sometime later in a new body as the Swamp Mystic, Morigesh. She’s determined to seek revenge against the Fey for abandoning her and her homeland.

Morigesh’s skills include many abilities that can target specific enemies, disable them, and deal massive magical damage. They include:

• Cursing Dagger: Throws a dagger to deal Physical Damage.
• Soul Collection: Deals Magical Damage to the selected enemy hero while creating a doll duplicate of that hero. The doll remains until a new hero is selected or the hero dies.
• Bug Bomb: Throws a bug bomb to infect all enemies within its range inflicting magical Damage. If the target has the Soul Collection effect, they are Slowed each time damage is dealt.
• Horde: Turns into a horde of insects to increase Movement Speed and decrease damage taken. Passing through an enemy in this state deals Magical Damage, Slows, and increases the hero's Health Regen. This Health Regen increase effect can be stacked up to 2 times.
• Hex Doll: Summon a giant swarm of insects that resemble Morigesh and deal Magical Damage to the hero with the Soul Collection effect.

New skins are now available including the Hero Morigresh’s Hurling Curse / Muriel’s Cyber Wing (Heroic skin) and Rampage’s Lyconn (Rare skin).

Players can experience additional features such as tutorial improvements that add information about Prime Guardian’s damage reduction and enhanced markings to help recognize objectives in tutorials. An Auto-Purchase System is now available that selects and recommends items based on the user’s playstyle. while a News Feature has been added to the lobby screen allowing players to stay up to date on the latest PARAGON: THE OVERPRIME announcements while in-game.

Meanwhile, PARAGON: THE OVERPRIME’s Closed Beta Test on PlayStation 5 has successfully ended and more than ten thousand players joined the CBT with much positive feedback.
