MAY 8, 2025 - Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a massive update for its action game Solo Leveling: ARISE to celebrate the game’s 1-year anniversary. Starting today, players can experience new content, including a powerful new hunter, fresh stories, exclusive in-game events, and more.

A new water-type SSR hunter has been added to the roster of playable characters: Cha Hae-In, the Pure Sword Princess. She is from a different iteration of the timeline that was lost through the continuous cycle of the Cup of Reincarnation, but in her world she is the guild master of the Valkyrie Guild. Her ultimate skill brings a radiant blade of pure light down to cleave through the skies, while a flurry of swords infused with celestial power rain across the battlefield and pierce through the enemy lines with overwhelming force.

The 1-year anniversary update also features new stories about a Knights Guild raid in Busan and a dungeon break at Sung Jinah’s school. In addition, players can now challenge Yogumunt, the Monarch of Transfiguration in the [Workshop of Brilliant Light] Distorted Sanctuary stage, and the Ant King boss battle has been added to the Instance Dungeon mode.

Sung Jinwoo’s maximum level has been expanded to Lv. 110 and a new Job Change tier has become available: Monarch of Shadows: Dawn Sentinel. Players can also seek nine new Blessing Stones as part of this content update.

Multiple events to celebrate the game’s first anniversary are now available through July 3^rd: 

• 1^st Anniversary Appreciation Event! Check-In Gift: Players earn various gifts by simply logging in during the event period. These gifts include a [Transcendent] Blessing Stone Selection Chest, a 1^st Anniversary Celebration SSR Hunter Selection Ticket, a 1^st Anniversary Celebration SSR Hunter Weapon Selection Ticket, and more.
• 1^st Anniversary Mission Challenge: Earn Points as rewards from various missions and exchange them for 100 Custom Draw Tickets. 
• 1^st Anniversary Dice Exploration Event: Roll the dice obtained through completing missions to acquire rewards, including a 1^st Anniversary Celebration SSR Sung Jinwoo Weapon Selection Ticket.

In addition, the 1^st Anniversary Daily Mission will be available from May 26^th through June 12^th. Players can obtain the Pixiv Competition-winning Sung Jinwoo Costume “Eleventh Hour Blade” by clearing in-game daily missions. Special hidden rewards will be sent to players’ mailboxes if the number of pre-registrants exceeds one million. All pre-registered players will be rewarded with 10 Custom Draw Tickets. 

Solo Leveling: ARISE is an action game adaptation of the hit webtoon, Solo Leveling. Taking on the role of Jinwoo, players can experience his journey through the beloved webtoon tale firsthand, leveling up, taking on dynamic battles, and creating their own combat styles by selecting various combinations of skills and weapons.
