NETMARBLE ANNOUNCES FINANCIAL EARNINGS FOR SECOND QUARTER OF 2025

AUGUST 7, 2025 – Netmarble Corp, renowned game developer and publisher, has announced its earnings for the second quarter of 2025. The company reported $502.45 million in global revenue and $91.77 million in EBITDA during Q2. The operating profit and net profit in Q2 were reported at $70.81 million and $112.1 million, respectively.

“Driven by the remarkable success of RF Online NEXT and Seven Knights Re:BIRTH — both newly launched in Korea during the first half of the year — and enhanced cost efficiency, the company delivered significant improvements both revenue and profitability,” said Byung-gyu Kim, CEO of Netmarble. “We are committed to carrying this upward momentum in the second half of 2025 by leveraging the launch of new titles and expanding our global reach with both upcoming and current games.”

In the second half of 2025, Netmarble is planning to launch several major new games globally: the open-world action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (PlayStation 5 console exclusive, Steam, and mobile), and Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE, a PC and console action RPG based on the popular Solo Leveling webtoon. The company is also preparing global expansions of Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, following its successful May launch in Korea where it quickly topped both major app stores. Additional titles planned for global release include THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK, StoneAge: Pet World, and MONGIL: STAR DIVE, while MMORPGs Vampir and Project SOL are scheduled for release in Korea.

Netmarble’s Q2 2025 financial results include:

  • Cumulatively for 2025, Netmarble earned $939.25 million in sales and $148.9 million in EBITDA, reporting an operating profit of $105.62 million and a net profit of $168.29 million.
  • North America led revenues (35%) with diversification across other key territories as follows: Korea (34%), Europe (12%), Southeast Asia (7%), and Japan (6%), and other regions (6%).
  • Netmarble’s portfolio showed diversification across various genres, including RPG (42%), Casual Games (33%), MMORPG (18%), and other genres (7%).
  • Top performing titles for the second quarter included: Seven Knights Re:BIRTH (13%), RF Online Next (9%), Marvel Contest of Champions (9%), Jackpot World (7%), Lotsa Slots (7%), Cash Frenzy (6%), Solo Leveling: ARISE (6%), The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross (4%), and Raven 2 (4%).
