SEPTEMBER 26, 2025 - Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new in-game update for its action game Solo Leveling: ARISE. The new update features a brand-new Hunter, story expansions, various new contents and events to experience.

Sung Il-Hwan, a dark-type Assassin, has arrived in the world of Solo Leveling: ARISE as part of the update. He is known for his stylish combat skills with dual blades, such as “Phantom Slash” in which he charges behind the target to deliver a series of slashes. When using his ultimate skill “Apocalyptic Might,” Sung Il-Hwan unleashes a series of slashes and finishes with a brutal strike.

Other content updates include the introduction of a new shadow “Jima” and Sung Jinwoo’s fire-type exclusive weapons “Ennio’s Roar” and “Radiru Clan’s Double-edged Spear.” The maximum level for Sung Jinwoo has expanded to Lv. 120, and his new Job Change class “Monarch of Shadows: Liberator” has been added as well. Additionally, players can explore through newly added Hidden Chapters of the Main Story on Normal and Hard difficulties.

A brand-new content “Training Room” is now available. Players can use both Sung Jinwoo and Hunter modes in the Training Room to test their builds, practice combos, measure their combat powers, and more. In addition, various in-game events such as “Full Moon! Events” and the second “Cartenon Temple: Co-op Battle” event are now available, offering generous rewards to participants.  

Solo Leveling: ARISE is an action game adaptation of the hit webtoon, Solo Leveling. Taking on the role of Jinwoo, players can experience his journey through the beloved webtoon tale firsthand, leveling up, taking on dynamic battles, and creating their own combat styles by selecting various combinations of skills and weapons. Not only can players team up with hunters from the webtoon, they can summon their own “Army of Shadows” with the iconic phrase: “Arise.”
