DECEMBER 17, 2025 - Netmarble, a renowned developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new update for its brutal dark fantasy MMORPG Raven2. Players  can experience the Snowflake Festival and take part in the Ancient Fortress that is a permanent new addition to the game.

The Snowflake Festival is a special event dungeon to celebrate the holiday seasons and will be running through January 6, 2026. Players can challenge the Gingerbread Man in the Snowflake Festival Hill dungeon and earn various rewards, including the holiday-themed Heroic Holy Garment (Festival of the Silent Star or Herald of Winter), a Rare Holy Garment ‘Temptation of the Holy Night,’ and a Rare Familiar ‘Snopon.’ Additionally, a special check-in event offering a Heroic Holy Garment (1) Summon Scroll is now available.

The massive GvG content “Ancient Fortress” has been added as part of this update as well. It allows up to 24 guilds within each world to compete across four distinct battlefields. Interested guilds can participate in the entry bidding process by using the in-game item ‘Invitation from the Lost Kingdom,’ while up to four guilds per server will win the bid and gain entry into the Ancient Fortress. 

Participating guilds will face off against powerful bosses across the battlefields., The guild that lands the finishing blow on the final boss Protector Parnaq will win the Ancient Fortress and receive a massive amount of Crystals as a reward. 

The very first Ancient Fortress competition will take place on January 10, 2026. To celebrate the Ancient Fortress competition, the Ancient Fortress Support Mission event will be available that gives players a chance to earn Heroic Crafting Blueprints or Heroic Skill Book Crafting Blueprints.

An official sequel to Raven (EvilBane: The Iron King), Raven2 is a blockbuster MMORPG set in a dark fantasy realm reimagined with unrivaled graphics. As a member of the Special Corps, players will onboard on a journey to investigate dangerous and bizarre incidents under royal order, and engage in a large-scale, cruel war.
