NETMARBLE LAUNCHES REDESIGNED MONGIL: STAR DIVE OFFICIAL WEBSITE FEATURING IN-DEPTH UNIVERSE DETAILS AND LORE CONTENT

2026.02.03

FEBRUARY 2, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, announced today that it has completed a major update to the official website for its upcoming monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE. The newly remodeled website strengthens the game’s brand presence by expanding character and story content while significantly increasing language support for global audiences.

MONGIL: STAR DIVE is the long-awaited sequel to the beloved 2013 mobile collectible RPG Monster Taming. Built with Unreal Engine 5, the title delivers high-quality cinematic storytelling alongside dynamic real-time action combat centered on three-character tag play. Players can also enjoy the signature “Monsterling Collection” system, which allows them to capture, collect, and synthesize monsters as companions, adding both charm and strategic depth to gameplay. The game is targeting a multi-platform launch on PC and mobile in the first half of this year, with global pre-registration currently underway.

The website’s major update was designed to offer a deeper and more immersive introduction to the world of MONGIL: STAR DIVE, with a particular focus on its characters and narrative. As part of the update, detailed profiles have been added for key characters appearing in Episode 1, including Cloud, Verna, Mina, Ophelia, and Francis. Each character page showcases 2D illustrations, in-game 3D models, and voice performances from both English and Japanese voice actors, while additional characters from other regions, such as Varein, Serenia, and Muwon, are set to be introduced in future updates.

In response to growing global interest, Netmarble has significantly expanded the number of supported languages on the official website. Previously available in Korean, English, and Japanese, the site now supports a total of 12 languages, including French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Indonesian. This expansion is aimed at making game information more accessible to players across diverse regions and strengthening communication with a broader global fan base.

Throughout the past year, MONGIL: STAR DIVE has actively engaged with players around the world through major international gaming events such as Gamescom in Germany, Tokyo Game Show in Japan, and Brazil Game Show. The updated website represents a continuation of these global outreach efforts, serving as a central hub for information and updates as the game moves closer to launch.

“Our goal with this official website update is to help players easily and intuitively explore characters, story, and unique features of MONGIL: STAR DIVE,” said Da-haeng Lee, Game Publishing Director at Netmarble. “Leading up to the game’s official launch, we plan to gradually share more details about the game’s universe and lore.”

More information on MONGIL: STAR DIVE is available via the official website, the Epic Games Store page, and the game’s official social media channels.
