MARCH 12, 2026 - Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, announced a new update for its action game Solo Leveling: ARISE. Players can experience a new hunter, expanded gameplay systems, and multiple content additions. 

Sugimoto Reiji joins the fray as a Wind-element Stacker. He’s a member of the Blade Guild known for his swift sword techniques and specializes in rapidly striking enemies with high-speed attacks. Reiji’s Ultimate Skill, “Quickblade - Oblivion,” unleashes a flurry of slashes at a speed nearly impossible to follow with the naked eye. 

The update also introduces a Hard difficulty for [Workshop of Brilliant Light] Arena of Madness that provides an additional challenge for players. Artifact progression has been expanded with the introduction of new Artifact tier levels (115 and 120). Four new Artifact sets have also been added: The Architect’s Blue Poison, Glorious Arrogance, Kamish’s Obsession, and Noble Flesh. 

Dungeon content has been streamlined with the integration of Instance Dungeons and Encore Missions into a newly unified mode called “Unstable Dungeon.” Additionally, a new water-element Guild Boss, Manticore, has been introduced.

Players can also experience the new Shadow form of the Giant Butcher Hars as part of this update. As a powerful ally, he increases the Water Damage of all allies through his Team Leader Effect. Along with his arrival, the maximum level of the Shadow Army will be expanded.

Other content updates include a new customization system that allows players to personalize Sung Jinwoo’s hairstyle and facial appearance. 

The main story continues with the addition of Chapters 30 and 31 in both Hard and Reverse hard modes as well.

Solo Leveling: ARISE is an action game adaptation of the hit webtoon, Solo Leveling. Taking on the role of Jinwoo, players can experience his journey through the beloved webtoon tale firsthand, leveling up, taking on dynamic battles, and creating their own combat styles by selecting various combinations of skills and weapons. Not only can players team up with hunters from the webtoon, they can summon their own “Army of Shadows” with the iconic phrase: “Arise.”
