APRIL 8, 2026 - Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, announced that its anime open world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has ranked No. 1 on the PlayStation® Store free-to-play (PS5 + PS4) charts for March 2026.

The title secured the No. 1 rankings across major regions including the United States, Canada, EU, and Asia that demonstrates strong global player engagement following its launch. Earlier, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin also showed strong performance on Steam, ranking No. 6 on the global Steam Top Sellers chart shortly after release, reaching No. 1 in France and No. 2 in Belgium, Italy, and Spain. It also secured No. 3 positions in Japan, while ranking No. 4 in South Korea and Germany. 

In addition to this milestone, a new update was released that introduces a brand-new original hero, Daisy. A mysterious figure involved in the creation of the “Book of Stars,” she is a unique character to the game and was not featured in the original series, adding a fresh narrative element.

The update also includes several new gameplay improvements, such as difficulty adjustments to [Path of Exploration], the addition of [Abyss] difficulty to Boss Challenges and Dungeons, and refinements to certain [Hell] boss patterns. Players will also receive a Regular SSR Hero Selection Ticket that allows them to choose one hero from a pool including Elaine, King, Guila, Jericho, Mannie, Drake, or Diane. Based on the hit Japanese manga and anime IP The Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold over 55 million copies globally, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin lets players explore Britannia in a vast open world. It features tag-based combat, combination skills, and customizable teams using diverse characters and weapons. Multiplayer elements include forming parties for exploration or teaming up to defeat bosses. The game is available on PlayStation®5, Steam, Google Play, and the App Store.
