OCTOBER 21, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new update for its monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE, introducing Chloe, a new five-star Wind-element character, alongside a special event story and a variety of limited-time events.
Chloe is a Fighter unit with a relentless combat style driven by powerful punches and spinning kicks. Known for her fierce fighting spirit, she earned recognition as a martial artist before the fall of Nirvan. Even as her world faced destruction, Chloe remained steadfast in her beliefs and never lost hope, allowing her to save countless lives.
To celebrate Chloe's arrival, a special story event titled The Road to a Broken Heart will be available for three weeks, giving players an opportunity to discover more about her past. Players can challenge the event dungeon, complete missions, and enjoy the Intensive Training! minigame to collect event currency and exchange it for rewards including a live background and summon tickets.
Additional events, including Special Missions with Chloe and Chloe’s 7-Day Gifts, will offer further rewards such as summon tickets and a Mutant Monsterling Selection Chest. A second half-anniversary rerun recruitment event will also bring back Esther and Nagi, along with their unique Artifacts.
More content is scheduled to arrive the second week of the update on October 28, including the launch of the Halloween-themed Nightmarch - Midnight Commotion event and a new seasonal costume for Esther, “[Esther] Alluring Devil of the Night”.
MONGIL: STAR DIVE is the long-awaited reimagining of the beloved 2013 mobile collectible RPG Monster Taming. Built with Unreal Engine 5, the game delivers cinematic storytelling and dynamic real-time combat centered on a three-character tag system. The Monsterling Collection system supports the capture, collection, and synthesis of monsters, adding strategic depth to gameplay.
